The original Alice games relied heavily on puzzles.
Alice Aslum will be no different. Expect to see puzzles “boxes” as a part of level design – sprinkled throughout Wonderland.
Alice Asylum will contain a wide range of puzzles: verbal, auditory, visual, physical, and "other". A sample of topics we might want to explore for puzzle foundation are:
- Spatial Skill
- Logical
- Short Term Memory
- Rote Utilisation
- General Knowledge
- Visual Apprehension
- Geometric
There will also be varied puzzle types based around some of Alice's abilities in Asylum. Such as:
- Floating
- Push/Pull
- Shrink/Grow
- Stealth
- Time Manipulation
- Climbing/Jumping
- Swimming
Imagine Alice being Vision Impaired but not blind, she must go through a maze of words created by caterpillars smoke, all the words Ryme and lead the right way or to violent danger, the words appear from puffs of smoke which are everywhere and alice cant see through the smoke but is also guided by caterpillar and must go the right way or meet her doom, if she goes the right way the words are happy and are also directions where to go, but if she goes the wrong way the words become psychotic and then the smoke clears only to be attacked by violent card guards or other enemies,
First it must be a real maze ever word is like a hall in the maze, the maze has words, tick tock walk sock rock trip slip slide glide, tick talk jabberwock KEY, door mouse , tick tock walk JABBERWOCKY STAB-BERWOCKY BATS STAB CATS CATERPILLAR KILLER MOUSE DOOR(use the key to unlock), In this maze you must find the key which is a word next to the Jabeerwocky word which is made of smoke all the words are smoke, also things like do bats eat cats do cats eat bats, the smoke could move and words can change a word such as EAT could very well become TEA a word like BATS could very well become STAB then KNIFE LIFE, if alice jumps JUMP BUMP she could bump into a CARD GUARD, weird rymes and poetic style words seem to happen when Alice goes the right way WONDER WANDER PONDER WANDER WONDER UNDER OVER, Wher will this maze puzzle take Alice, She must get the key then get to the door in this puzzle called the Maze of the caterpillars SMOKE CHOKE BREATH DEATH LIFE KNIFE CUT STAB JABBERWOCKY KEY, THIS IS AN IDEA FOR YOU FROM ME (I have a few drawings of the maze of words if you need it,more words that ryme in Alice's Mind)
