    • Sidequest that involves American McGee's beloved dog, Lulu
  2. Cheshire Cat
    • A helper and companion
  3. White Rabbit
    • A helper and guide that naturally runs off ahead of the player, pulling the player into the environment and engaging in the story
  4. Different art and music style for each stage
  5. Burnt objects from past life that can be used as a thrown-weapon
  6. Unlockable concept art
  7. Collecting skulls instead of teeth as currency to upgrade equipment
  8. Alice to be put on trial for the death of her family, with references from the book about the stolen tarts
  9. Have Alice sing nursery rhyme when she is idle
    • Can select which one is sung based on items found
  10. A Non-Canon Stage filled with jokes and running gags from Patreon, livestreams and Discord
    • Font Lord, as the final boss of the stage maybe?
    • S.S. Greg's Junk, sailing down a river
  11. World with procedurally generated exploration zones (Forests, mazes, ect) connect a fixed number of “puzzle rooms” or pre-defined set pieces. This would off Alice a chance to explore, discover, and fight in a larger sand box while also providing structure to the platform/puzzle and narrative element off the game.
  12. Library inspired level (Massive stacks of books, floating books, pages as platforms, ect)
  13. Skulls on Alice’s dresses could indicate there are enemies nearby (By glowing, screaming, catching fire, ect)
  14. Stealth includes an indicator of enemy alertness (Green-Unnoticed, Red-Alert)
  15. Consider putting health indicators on enemies, especially bosses.
  16. Alice collects candy for power ups.
  17. Caterpillar’s words are trapped in ice, free them to solve a puzzle.
  18. Follow the color of the “floating” fish
  19. .House of mirrors acts as the “central hub” of Wonderland, allowing Alice to travel from place to place
  20. Hatter inspired funhouse area
  21. Lulu easter egg
  22. A “tortured soul” character, reminiscent of the big daddies from Bioshock (Something innocent turned into a monster)
  23. Inception within the library (Seeing recaps of yourself)
  24. Rabbit would be like the bear from Among the Sleep
  25. Rage or Hysteria given based on performance i.e., Rage-Good, Hysteria-Bad
    • Rage is charged as you fight
    • Hysteria builds as damage is taken, rage builds is damage is given
    • Rage modes take no damage from minor enemies, deal heavy damage, lasts a limited amount of time, must collect potion or shards to activate
    • Rage is an early power up that changes as you progress
  26. Alice’s state of mind gives her power ups e.g., depression has a black hole power, anger like rage mode, ect
  27. Use patches for power ups e.g., Cheshire patch grants invisibility dodge
  28. Let players find weapons rather than “handing them” to them
  29. “Giant” Alice makes a reappearance (Eat the cake again to stomp on enemies)
  30. Alice “collects” emotions throughout the game
  31. Power ups depend on the location/level e.g., Rage mode activated during the anger level
  32. If Alice stares an an enemy too long their heads will explode

  7. “Shadow” Alices (Or Chaos modes) merge together to create the final Shadow Alice who is the antagonist of the game (Powers that you previously used in the game are now used against you)
  8. Hatter’s domain can include riding a teacup in a tea river, using a spoon as a paddle
  9. The train is seen in Wonderland but it is the Mock Turtle’s train before Bumby’s corruption (It should look like a toy train)
  10. Asylum inmates have circus counterparts that are forced to perform along with Alice.
    • All of the circus performers represent some sort of mistreatment from the asylum e.g., starvation, head screws, lobotomies, leeches
    • Some of the circus performers could look like skeletons to represent their mistreatment/ starvation in the asylum. These enemies would be weak due to malnutrition.
    • There are circus “orderlies” working under the Tweedles-they obey every command of the Tweedles.
    • Orderlies wear colorful clothes and “smiling” masks, they can be seen doing idle tasks such as juggling or spinning signs and speak about how great the circus is (In a forced tone)
    • The orderlies don’t attack Alice unless she is spotted by the Tweedles and they command the attack. Jugglers will throw things that explode at Alice and sign spinners will engage in melee combat.
    • Circus performers that represent inmates with addiction, seen with needles stuck in them. They can be seen twitching violently and speaking to themselves. They have both means of ranged and melee attack such as pulling syringes from their bodies and throwing them at Alice, causing hallucinations.
    • Isolated inmates could be represented by animal humanoids that are crazed, they would growl and foam at the mouth.
    • Lobotomized inmates could be represented by vegetable humanoids.
  11. Alice is forced to perform in the circus by the Tweedles. The Tweedles mocking would gain intensity throughout the bit, rising to a crescendo, causing Alice to pass out. After Alice passes out there would be a cut scene of Alice brought before sanatorium doctors “performing” her displays of madness.
