Games For Windows – Podcast

Games for Windows is hosting an audio interview they did with me during GDC:

Welcome to GFW Radio, the podcast homepage for Games for Windows: The Official Magazine. Here, through the glorious magic of the Internet, you can listen to the GFW editors and occasional guests pontificate and yammer about all sorts of PC game related issues. Plus they might even break down on-air, adding an element of tension to the whole affair.

The Jeff, Shawn and the guys were kind enough to have me on so we could talk about things like Bad Day LA (what went wrong?!), doing business in China, Grimm, and my weird name. All in all, a really good “brodio”. You can find the podcast here.

  1. I have Bad Day L.A. and not to sound like some kind of suck up or ass kisser. But I played my share of bad games before, and I have to say compared to a lot yours isn’t that bad.
Because the concept is different from a lot of games out there that strive on fanboy approval. I think Bad Day L.A. got the short end of the stick… But that’s just me and my view on it, I didn’t see it as some kind of harsh reality slap to the face that bad things happened. I see that World War I and II were really bad and a lot of lives were lost but I see about 50 games on a store shelf about them.

  2. Hello, I too have Bad Day LA, and I think that it was ust great! I mean sure, there were some unpolished parts, but it was funny and well made. Maybe what went wrong was that there is no mods or patches which keep the gamer´s interests over the years. Have you thought of making a page for Bad Day LA in moddb.com?
